Overfilling the gem-chamber

During production we realized that the ceiling of the gem chamber was a delicate part of the bottle. And in the end we enforced the glass by making it 3mm thicker. But even so, please make sure never to overfill the gem-chamber. Forcing the bottom lid shut will cause the wall between the two compartments to shatter.

Be mindful when you insert the crystals. We recommend using the technique where you tilt the bottle and gently place in the gemstones one by one.

Dropping the gemstones in the chamber keeping the bottle completely upside-down might break the glass.

Direct method or Indirect method to charge the gemstones.

”Indirect Method”

Our “Phoenix” Crystal Tea Infuser Bottle is designed for the indirect method when charging the water. The gemstones are placed in the separate gem-chamber, and will charge the water through the glass. The direct method would be when you place the gemstones straight in the drinking water.

Do not put stones in the upper chamber. The inside glass in the top part of the bottle is thin, and putting stones there will cause the glass to shatter.

”Direct Method”

Gemstones do not need to touch the water to charge it. Some stones dissolve harmful substances when put in liquid. However, Amethyst and rose quartz are safe to use. So if you want to use the direct method, simply put the crystals in the infuser basket and place in the bottle. Please be mindful if you decide to put any other gemstones in the infuse basket. You must make sure the stones are compatible with water and will not dissolve, or discharge any harmful substances in your drink.

Be mindful when you use your Phoenix bottle.

The bottle is likely to break if you add ice at force, change temperatures quickly, knock your bottle over, or use metal spoons or instruments inside the glass bottle.

Avoid large temperature changes

Do NOT – pour cold water into the glass bottle when it’s hot or vice versa. Going from hot to cold too quickly can cause the glass to break. Be sure that your glass bottle has cooled to room temperature after washing before you put in cold water and especially ice inside.

Leak Proof Seal

The seal inside the lids should be pushed down with the ”groovy” side inside the lid and the smooth side facing you. Make sure the seal, which makes the lids leak proof, is completely pushed down inside the lid. If the seal isn’t completely in place, it’ll cause a very strong vacuum. This will cause the lid to close too tight, making it hard to open, and might cause the bottle to break.

Double Wall Glass

The Double Walled Glass is for insulation, and not extra strength. The inner glass is extra thin in order to quickly spread the heat or cold to the space of air in-between the glass walls, keeping your beverage hot or cold for an extended period of time.

If you drop the bottle, it will most likely break.
